Historic + Sustainable
Work on historic properties must adhere to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Historic Preservation. The following are the four standards that are distinct, but interrelated approaches for completing the work:
475 High Performance Building Supply (Great resources for details)
Green Exam Academy (Great study materials for the LEED Exam)
There are numerous green rating systems available for building projects to pursue. Each rating system is slightly different and varies in applicability depending on the building type and use.
LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design)
LBC (Living Building Challenge)
Energy Star (it's not just for appliances!)
